NeSA 2018's qualifier has come to an end with four teams making it through to the LAN finals in Finland, where four local teams already await.
The qualified teams are EURONICS, FriendlyFire, PUR$i$EURA, and 1337HUANIA. The four teams played a 32 team qualifier where they reached the semi-finals to secure their spots at the event in Finland. They will join HAVU, iGame.com, NYYRIKKI, and SJ, the four invited teams by the organization, at the event set to take place in Kajaani, Finland.
This year's NeSA finals will also see eight teams picked by Nordic eSports Academy from a four-week bootcamp that will be taking place before the event's start on July 6-8. The three-day tournament will have the group stages played on Friday and the playoffs during the weekend, after which the ~$12,000 prize pool will be distributed.
